Begin in the vibrant city of Copenhagen, where royal palaces, colorful harbors, and historic charm await. Travel across Denmark’s scenic countryside before crossing the sea to Norway, where dramatic fjords, Viking heritage, and picturesque towns like Stavanger and Bergen offer breathtaking natural beauty. Enjoy a cruise through the majestic Sognefjord and visit iconic landmarks like the Borgund Stave Church and Mount Fløyen.
Continue your adventure in Oslo, a modern capital surrounded by nature, then head to Sweden, stopping in the medieval town of Örebro before arriving in stunning Stockholm, a city of islands, palaces, and culture. Explore charming old towns, cruise scenic waters, and walk through centuries of Nordic history. With guided tours, ferry rides, daily breakfasts, and unforgettable landscapes, this all-inclusive trip is the perfect way to experience the magic of the North.
6:00 AM: Departure from Lawrence, MA to Washington, D.C.
Welcome. Transfer to the hotel and free time. Information about the start of your tour will be provided in the evening via notice boards at the hotel reception.
Morning panoramic tour of Denmark’s capital, the largest Scandinavian city, showcasing contrasts like Tivoli Gardens, Christiansborg Palace, Nyhavn terraces, and the Little Mermaid. Free time.
Later, we travel to Jutland, crossing a 20 km bridge over the sea. Stop in Odense, with its Gothic cathedral and Andersen’s house. Arrival in Aarhus and free time.
Travel to Hirtshals and take a ferry to Norway across the North Sea (~3 hours). Continue along Norway’s southern coast, stopping in Flekkefjord, then arrive in Stavanger—a charming city by the fjord.
Note: Ferry schedules vary by season. Lunch is often available onboard.
Visit the Swords in Rock Viking monument. Scenic drive via tunnels, bridges, and ferry along Norway’s fjords. One tunnel is among the world’s deepest undersea.
In Bergen, ride the funicular to Mount Fløyen for panoramic views. Free time in Norway’s fjord capital.
Stunning landscapes with fjords, glaciers, lakes, and forests. Stop at Tvindefossen Waterfall. Cruise (~1.5 hrs) on the Sognefjord between Gudvangen and Aurland.
Pass through Aurland Tunnel—the world’s longest road tunnel. Visit the Borgund Stave Church (admission included). Arrive in Oslo with free time in the harbor or Frogner Park.
Note: Cruise may sometimes disembark at Flåm instead of Aurland.

Continue to Sweden. Stop in Örebro, a historic town with a castle and lovely old town. Arrive in Stockholm at day’s end.
Panoramic tour of the Swedish capital built on 14 islands. Visit Gamla Stan (Old Town), Nobel Museum, Royal Palace, Stortorget Square, and enjoy views from Fjällgatan. Free time. Optional visit to City Hall or Vasa Museum.
Travel south. Visit Helsingborg, then take a short ferry to Helsingør, Denmark. Explore the town of Hamlet and Kronborg Castle. Arrive in Copenhagen late afternoon.
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight home.
